Family Court Gives Permission for Gender Switch for Teenager Despite Father’s Wishes

Media outlets today are reporting that Justice Austin of the Family Court of Australia has ruled in favour of a 15 year old girl known as Ryan to commence hormone treatment to become a boy.
At the hearing, Ryan’s Father fought against the Application, arguing that his child had been brainwashed by various Doctors and had not undergone adequate psychological treatment.
It is believed that this is the youngest persons to have won such a case in the court.
Despite the Father’s appeals, the Court ruled in favour of Ryan.
