Lockdown Arrangements for VRT Lawyers- Business as Usual ( Ok Well Almost!!)

A full two week lockdown was announced for the Greater Sydney area, the Blue Mountains, the Central Coast, and Wollongong by the New South Wales Government on 27 June 2021.

Pursuant to the Public Health Orders, one of the reasonable excuses to leave your home is to attend to legal obligations.

Additionally, Courts are exempted from the restriction of gatherings not to be above 10 persons. As a result, many Courts will continue to run during the lockdown (although so far the Chief Magistrate of the Local Court has already announced that hearings for the next two weeks are adjourned).

As a result Vizzone Ruggero Twigg Lawyers is required to continue to operate during this period albeit with the following modifications:

1. The Sydney/Surry Hills office will be indefinitely closed as it is located in the City of Sydney Local Government Area and is subject to special Public Health Order relating to City of Sydney, Randwick and Woollahra Local Government Areas;

2. The Mascot office will remain open in a limited capacity. It will not be available to walk-ins and will be by appointment only for urgent appointments only. Where possible appointments will be by telephone or video (eg zoom or other similar program);

3. Our Solicitors and Lawyers will continue to accept appointments for new clients including by telephone and zoom.
